myskin for medical professionals

Clinical use of myskin™

Who can prescribe and use myskin™?

Myskin can be applied under standard dressing change and wound management protocols either in a clinical in-patient or out-patient setting.

Myskin may be used in a community setting provided sufficient infrastructure is in place to assure standard dressing management (i.e. twice weekly changes) is upheld. Assistance must be available to support patient compliance in order for successful outcomes to be achieved.

Initiation of treatment requires minor surgical intervention to take a patient biopsy as well as a blood sample and swabs.

CellTran offers clinical support and guidance on, for example, wound preparation and dressings. This ensures that myskin is used on suitable wounds, which maximises effectiveness. Any guidance offered is not binding and is not intended as a professional medical opinion.
